Strategic Brain, Creative Eye.

Hi. I’m Kelty Brittle. I’m a designer with experience in a wide range of industries and media. If I can really communicate well with my client, we can most certainly connect with their customers.

I am married to Ben and mother of three Little Brittles (my best creative work yet!) I love bungalow architecture, mid-century modern furniture, bluegrass and folk music, a great book and hope to live overseas for a year someday (but not while I’m in the middle of your project, I promise!)

Why are you a designer?

Because visual design is powerful. I believe great design can attract and connect the right people to your message. Because a great message is made even better when it is presented beautifully. The tools available to accomplish this have never been more powerful or more accessible.

What’s it like to work with you?

Design isn’t just about making things look pretty. It has a very important job to do: deliver your message to your audience. Here’s how I work to do that:

  1. Ask lots of questions to make sure we’re on target
  2. Communicate with you at every step along the way
  3. Have fun, this ain’t rocket science
  4. Deliver on time and on budget
  5. Celebrate when everything’s done and the results are in

What kind of projects do you take on?

I love to work on a wide range of projects, and have done many things in my design career. But my favorite projects are the ones where I can really use my strategic brain and creative eye to powerfully deliver your message to your audience. I really hit my stride on more meatier projects like brand design, longer books, brochures and websites. (link to projects when portfolio is up.) But, sometimes we need to start smaller to get to know each other a bit. And that’s cool too.

Where do we start?

With a phone conversation. You know a lot about me and now I need to know about you. I’d love to chat with you and find out about your project. The design process is pretty relational. We’re going to get to know each other pretty well.

Where in the world did you get the name Kelty?

Here. Seriously.
Ask me to tell you the story sometime.
